We have become a partner of the Ibiza Preservation Foundation

We are proud to announce our collaboration with this project. IPF promotes the conservation of the value and beauty of the island's nature.

At Boating Ibiza we believe that our tourism-based economy can (and should) coexist with the island's unique cultural and enviromental heritage.

We are therefore very happy to have formalised a partnership agreement with the Ibiza Preservation Foundation and to have joined this important initiative.

As you may know, the IPF funds, leads and enables nature and biodiversity preservation projects, both on land and at sea.

The four key projects on which the project is focused are:

1. Sustainability Observatory: in order to contribute to the long-term prosperity of Ibiza by preserving the island’s natural resources.
2. Ibiza Produce: an up-to-date guide of local produce and food markets selling fresh fruit & vegetables, fish, artisan food producers, ...
3. Posidonia Protection: aimed to protect Protect Posidonia meadows, which keep our sea pristine and full of life.
4. Plastic-free Ibiza and Formentera: for phasing out single-use plastics in the Pitiusas Islands by 2023.
